 >Since the boat is in Bellingham, I am guessing you are nearby.
Being a new
to boating, I would suggest contacting Marin Faure, who is very trawler
knowledgeable, and lives on board in Bellingham, and making
arrangement to
view the boat with him.

I appreciate the vote of confidence but I should make a few
corrections. The only trawler I've had any experience with is our
own GB. Other than what I have learned from the owners of other
types of boats, I would only venture to make definitive statements
and judgments about the boat and systems I'm familiar with.

Also, we live outside Seattle. We keep the boat 100 miles north in
Bellingham and use it almost every weekend but we do not live aboard.

There are several excellent surveyors in the Bellingham area as well
as a very good yard, Seaview North. While the owner of this
particular Willard has taken very good care of it I would highly
recommend that anyone serious about buying the boat hire good hull
and engine surveyors and have the boat thoroughly checked out by them.
