T&T: Basin at Chesapeake City

The only depth problem I've ever noticed with our Monk 36 happens if you try
to cut the corners too closely. If the current is running hard out on the
C&D Canal take a wide swing when entering, otherwise the side drift during
your turn will give you trouble.
Also for smallish vessels, say less than 34', with skilled helmspersons,
there is more city dockage than just the face dockage on the western end of
the basin. There are also about 3 very nice slips, not part of the marina,
tucked away in the southwestern corner of the basin. Advise reconnoitering
before attempting.
