T&T: Outboard Lower Unit Gear Oil

I just bought a used outboard motor. I was planning on doing all of
the normal maintenance items on the motor before I use it too much.
I've come upon a question that I am not sure about.

The motor is a 1986 Nissan 9.9hp outboard. The owner's manual states
that the lower unit oil should be 80 weight GL-4 oil. As I've looked
to buy that type of oil, I can't seem to find it anywhere. It seems
that most places are moving to multi-weight oils (80w90, 75w90, etc...)
and I can't find GL-4 anywhere, as everything is GL-5 now.

According to the Pennzoil FAQ site, the GL-5 oil contains about twice
the amount of extreme pressure (EP) additives than the GL-4 oil and
that using GL-5 oil in a GL-4 application could cause chemical
corrosion and shortened gear life.

So, I guess my question is...Does anyone know where I can buy 80 weight
GL-4 gear oil? If not, would using Rotella's 80w90 GL-5 oil work for
an outboard lower unit without much problems?

Thanks...
Greg...
