Sorry I've gotta disagree with your charge rate figure. T-105s are rated at 220 AH so with 4 in series parallel john has a 440AH bank. So if you use 20% (I use 25%) with your calcs it would be 88 amps. Balmar batt temp sensors trip at 125 deg F. It's hard to keep engine room temps below that in the South when the house banks are in the engine room. A seperate battery room would be great but not practical on smaller boats. I have checked temps on Rollsdoc and they run at 125 deg. So I have disconnected the temp sensor for the large fram alternator that charges the house bank while underway. Batts are 125 deg anyway. Did this several years ago and no problem yet. Even talked to Balmar about this and my battery supplier. Works for me.
