T&T: A/C Pump Problems

An alternative to muratic acid that works extremely well for unblocking 
the "gunk" in heat exchangers and related piping, and might very well 
work on your cooling lines, is the descaler from 
http://rydlymemarine.com/. It's also biodegradable.

I used it on my heat exchangers on old Sanderling, and it cleaned the 
lines and heat exchangers out so well that the operating temps lowered 
by 10 degrees.
