T&T: Battery Charging Questions

John, I'd run not walk out of my battery room if the batteries were anywhere
near 125 degree let alone 150 degrees!!
You need to get some air to them and keep the charging under 20% of their
total AH rating (in your case ~40 amps). If Xantrex MS-2000 allows a 150
degree temp I'd sure worry about that too.
Our Trace units are pretty well throttled back to nothing by 120 degrees
battery temp when we had our T-105's.

Have had a few thermal runaways in my life you don't want to have this
happen...spoils your day and if the case splits and the acid gets into the
bilge with any salt water in it then you have chlorine gas...a real day
buster!
