T&T: Rocna followup

Just a followup to report on my experience thus far with the Rocna anchor.

I couldn't be more pleased. The 40kg looked huge in the back of the
Durango, thought it will never fit in the bow roller, & had visions of
trying to do a re-fit. Actually, the Rocna came home in the bow roller
*perfectly*! I also have a Delta 45 in the second roller, they fit just
fine. I may need to lower the Rocna if I need to deploy the Delta, but I
don't forsee a problem. The anchor sets quickly, and resets with no
problem. Our 1st time out was in Fairlee Creek on the eastern shore.
We've avoided it in the past because of its notorious poor holding,
especially in a blow. We were able to set on the 2nd try, on our 1st we
didn't pay out enough chain. We set well, and during the night, the wind
kicked up and shifted 180, we held tight through the night.

This weekend we're in better holding ground, set quickly on the 1st try.

My dealings with Suncoast were great, Mark responded quickly to every
one of my requests, and kept me posted on delivery since the 40's were
not in stock at the time of my order. He also let me know up front that
the 40 was to be in production the week following my order, and he was
spot on with his projections.

As a side note, you may recall my posts requesting feedback about Best
Marine Imports, where I initially ordered the Rocna. They did not
respond to any e-mails (4) or phone messages (3) for order confirmation,
despite the fact that my credit card was already charged for the full
amount of the order. and I eventually cancelled the order. I received a
response about a week later, finally confirming receipt of my
cancellation. Still, nearly 6 weeks after the initial online order,
there has been no credit to my card account, the charge was put into
dispute the day it appeared on my credit card online statement. Add them
to your list of vendors to avoid unless you have an item you can order &
forget until it simply shows up some day.

Bottom line feedback on the Rocna is all positive.
