Regarding smoke on 3208 CATs.  I just had a CAT mechanic on my boat the
other day and he was very surprised that my 3208's do not smoke very much on
startup.  He said they are known in the trade as "mosquito killers."
However, I would suggest that you get an engine survey besides your regular
survey if you are serious about buying this boat.  It is money well spent,
it gives you peace of mind.
