T&T: Where have all the trawlers gone? - Position report

We got back into New York City yesterday afternoon.  We ran out to Long Island
Sound for two days just to say we've been there.  Stopped for a night in
Mamaroneck and for another in Oyster Bay.  We only saw a small handful of
trawlers...what a surprise.  Mostly sailboats.  Ran back through Hell Gate
yesterday afternoon and anchored behind the Statue of Liberty in the basin at
Liberty Landing State Park.  We are waiting for the tide to change so we can
head up the Hudson today.
