If your looking for the most affordable and comprehensive system, then
Garmin provides this. They have a very large commercial market of GPS
systems that offsets the development and feature enhancements than the
other players.

David,
Here is an answer guaranteed to confuse. We installed a Raymarine C120
a year ago and we love it. It worked well all last year as we traveled
up the ICW.
We use radar and the chart plotter, no depth. My son bought a new flats
fishing boat this year and based on my satisfaction with the C120, he
installed a Raymarine fishfinder. It was not cheap...$600 or so. It
was a bust. The first unit was all but impossible to see in the
sunlight. (Seems that should be a requirement for a unit intended to go
on a small center-console boat!) After the thing clouded up with
condensation, WM changed it out and the second one did the same thing.
WM upgraded it to a more expensive unit which was only marginally better
in the sunlight. Within thirty days it was clouding up with
condensation and WM swapped it out, at no cost, for a more expensive
Garmin fishfinder/chartplotter. So far, so good.
By the way, for you nay-sayers, this speaks volumes about WM, in my
book.
