I found no difference between Aircard (I had it for 2 years) and my actual
phone, (which I use as a modem via bluetooth), except that it's much easier
to position the phone to get a better reception. With aircard in its PCMIA
slot and the computer deep inside the boat, I had to use an external antenna
and cable connected to the Aircard. Boring.
I find the bluetooth solution much easier, more friendly user and efficient.
I believe bluetooth is slightly slower than a direct cable, but what is the
difference between 30 seconds and 38 seconds...
