T&T: Capilano steering bleed

I am installing a new Simrad AP16 auto pilot.  I am having troble  getting 
all the air out of my Capilano hydraulic steering system, any  suggestions or 
easy fixes?  In my manuel it says there are two bleed screws  on each side of 
the Uniflow valve.  Mine seems to only have one on each  side.  When you bleed 
this does fluid also come out the bleed screw or just  air?  I also have a left 
over Auto Helm 6000 with dual control stations but  no pump if anyone is 
interested contact me off list.
