T&T: Nmea/GPS software GpsGate 2.0

Stumbled upon some interesting Gps/Nmea software at 
http://franson.com/gpsgate/index.asp?ref=menu. I asked their forum if I 
input Bluetooth gps via a USB dongle if I could get NMEA steering 
signals out via the COM port. They confirmed that this can be done. I 
asked for the wiring scheme for RS 232 and have not received a response 
yet. I about out of my minimal depth on this sort of thing and if any of 
the digital gurus have any ideas on the possibility of using this $29 
software instead of a multiplexer, your comments would be appreciated. 
This program also includes data logging and interface with Google Earth 
hummmm!. V2.5 has just been released.
