6.3/1.6 is about 3.9 nmpg...that's typical for a 6 to 7 knot cruise speed, single main, midrange RPM cruise...At 8 or 9 knots, few mid size boats get that efficient. Speed costs!! Working reverse, 18 x 1.6 gives about 29 HP...sounds in the ball park.
