T&T: PFD for a boat hook.

Instead of ash, use a lighter wood such as Sitka Spruce, it will float in
fresh water with a nice bronze hook, and still have plenty of strength. I
have not yet broken the one a make in 1965...it is somewhat thinner now from
refinishing. I also have and old Merriman buoy hook that is too heavy to
float, but it is on a leash.
