We have a dive job on the Penobscot River this week weather permitting. It is
very different in the winter as you say. Quiet and very clear skys, well
mostly, today is rain/sleet. We will be going under the new bridge just opened
on Dec 30th. And why do you have to wait till the water warms up, you are way
south of me, it should still be warm.....

>>>I took the kids out today for a boat ride here in the cold northeast
(Boston).
It was GREAT!
34 degrees, light wind, full sun. We closed the wheelhouse doors and
let the sun warm us up (the heater is broken, and it really didnt
matter.) The only boats on the water were the working boats; a few
lobster boats and a BIG tug pulling a dredger barge. Got to play with
the new radar and check out a couple of new dive sites for next spring
when the water warms up!
Winter in New England is great, nobody on the water, calm weather,
does it get any better? well, I mean it might not sound so great to
our southern friends, but hey, it is New England. :)
