T&T: Anchor Alarm

 Hi All,
I my opinion the anchor alarm SHOULD go off when
the boat swings with either tide or wind shifts.
Let us all face it, we need to be absolutely
certain there is no problem with our anchor, AND
that any other boat, flotsam, logs, etc are not
threatening our boats safety. Here on the West
Coast the tide changes about 4 times a day
(slightly less than 4 high + low tides each day).
This encourages us to completely check out the
situation once every 6 hours (or so).
I don't think that is too much of a burden for an
anchored vessel with crew aboard (yes, you are
crew).
Perhaps we should regard the anchor alarm as just
a reminder that it is time to once again find out
if anything has changed in our immediate area. Not
a bad thing...

 Just my $0.02 worth.
