Thanks George and Peggy for the Mansfield parts advice...
 
Ardemco had the part available, so no sweat getting the head fixed.
 
Just for laughs, the 1980 Parts list sez the RETAIL cost for the  replacement 
is $3.90, the 2007 price is $33.95.
