T&T: 47 Tradewinds

My wife and I are planning to buy a trawler to live on upon retirement. So 
far the Marine Trader Tradewinds has the floor plan that seems to suit our 
needs the best.
The only 47 we have been able to see in person had a lotof stress cracks in 
the gel coat on the deck. Is this common? Does anyone have any experience 
with these boats?
I want to learn as much as I can before I make a decision.
