T&T: 35 Golden Star trawler

       I guess it is typical Taiwanese stuff.  It is a mixed bag.  Maybe the place to start is to find out what yard it was built in.  Basically there were a few yards over there and they built all the boats.  The different names come from what company designed and imported them.  A very popular yard was CHB(Chung Hwa Boatworks) who put out the Present, Heritage East, etc.  As long as it checks out okay then it is probably a decent boat.  But not enough consistency to be able to make a blanket staement like "Golden Stars are great boats",etc.
