Insurance companies can set limits to where you can take your boat. Why
can't the boatowner set the limits also?
My policy covers my boat for areas I am never going to, i.e., Mexico and 50
miles off-shore. I never go further north than Ventura and no more than 26
miles off-shore (Catalina.) I know I am spittin' into the wind but I just
had to rant.

We'll, look at it this way. If you loose power off Catalina and drift to
Clemente, you;ll be covered, LOL
