Your old dash ammeter will not work with a shunt. However a shunt type
ammeter and shunt is awailable from Steward Warner and Isspro, Murphy, and
other automotive gauge suppliers.  Last time I had to purchase an S-W
ammeter it cost less under $100 for both meter and shunt.
