Jim, you might also want to take a look at Livingston dinks.  I've had two
of them since giving up on inflatables. They are relatively light (my 10'
weighs 140# my previous 9' ~ 110#) and with the twin hulls are very stable,
in fact nearly as stable as an inflatable, and fast.  They have a web site
