T&T: MS Vista, A marine PC train wreck?

internet connection is listed under Recommended, not Minimum. config.  from
what i understand, you need to connect to validate the installation but once
that's done, you no longer need to be connected.

i'm sure there is a manual way to validate the install, maybe call MS or
something.

not that i'm planning to upgrade any time soon....
