I buy 5 gallon pails of straight 40 weight at NAPA auto parts (Delo 400).

100 hours seems to be the consensus recommendation.  My Kohler
generator (Yanmar diesel) has a 250 hour oil change interval but that
is quite a different engine than a DD 2 stroke.
