Had the same failure on the 5.7 after 1 1/2 years of liveaboard use.
Although it flooded the motor, it didn't damage it but it smoked the
computerized flow control. Pascal, nice idea about the weep hole. Does
anyone have a contact for the diaphragm kit. Depco wanted an arm and a leg
for them so I ordered a new one from PPL--

Have some friends who are sailboat cruisers and sailmakers. When I gave them
the old, still running motor, you'da thought I gave them a $1000 bill. They
use them to run their sewing machines.
