The TrueCharge 40+ manual says it wants 8.5 amps at 120V, more at
lower voltages. The Honda 2000 will deliver 13.3 amps, or so (too
lazy to find the manual), so it will have no problem.

With the Prosine 2.0 on my current boat, I have to reduce the maximum
charge current to keep the Honda 2000 happy. I think that charger
will deliver up to 100 amps, and I reduce it to about 70 amps when
charging from the Honda 2000.

The document you referred to discusses the "Freedom" series
inverter/chargers. It seems that they are an older technology (the
document is dated 1997), and that newer chargers have a much better
power factor. That document gives a power factor of 0.7, while the
Prosine 2.0 specs show 0.98.
