Larry is correct about availability.
What may be confusing people is the fact many of these lights plug into a
120V AC outlet.

Look at the actual bulb.  It will have the working voltage printed on it
somewhere.
In most cases the light fixture will have a small transformer buried inside
somewhere.
The puck style lights I have seen are fed from an external 12V source,
usually a small transformer.
