T&T: 12v Halogen vs Xenon

The Xenon work fine. The puck lights were still available from Lowes. Home Depot dropped them several years ago. They come in a 5 pack with transformer. Pitch the transformer and use the lights. They come with 10 watt halogen bullbs Just use them till they burn out then replace with Xenon. The Xenon bulbs are a bit pricey. Watch what you buy as West Marine was selling Halogens for replacements for their Xenon fixtures. They may have corrected this, but haven't checked. I usually buy them 25 at a time from a wholesale supplier. Hard to tell them apart.
