T&T: 12v Halogen vs Xenon

Thanks to listmembers, I've found several sources for the 12 volt puck style
lights. Bob said he had actually used the 12v Halogen on this boat system, but
has anyone used the Xenon?  Any problem with the 14v charging voltage on these
bulbs? They are about a buck higher, but supposed to be cooler and last 4
times longer. I'm planning on getting rid of these d@&n 12 volt flouresent
ceiling fixtures and replacing with these.
