T&T: Engine and Fuel Log - Excel Workbook

 All I can say is WOW! I have been overwhelmed with requests for copies of
my engine and fuel log Excel workbook. I have been trying to email copies to
those who requested it but I don't have a lot of time to spend monitoring my
email and I am having a hard time keeping up.  Lets try this a different
way.

I have uploaded the file to a file storage site. You can download the

I should point out a few other things that have come up in your emails:

1. The file is password protected. I did this for several reasons which
include:


    - I have done a LOT of spreadsheet development over the years and
   many end users unintentionally mess up formulas and formatting and then
come
   to me saying the spreadsheet doesn't work.

    - You never know who is lurking on these email lists and, frankly, I
   don't want somebody else ripping off my work and claiming it as their own.


 I realize this limits people's ability to customize the workbook to their
own tastes and needs. All I can say is, I hope you understand. I would be
willing to consider doing some individual customizing for those who are
interested. Contact me off list if you want to discuss this.

2. Several users have indicated they only have one engine and one genset.
The workbook is designed to handle two engines and two gensets. If you only
have one engine, just use one column and leave the other blank. By the way,
you can edit the column headers so you can rename or delete the titles
provided (a good suggestion from someone out there  thanks for that).

3. Several people have asked for the earlier "U.S. Only" version instead of
the later "International" version. I don't want to have to maintain two
versions but there isn't a lot to do to bring the earlier version up to
where the later version is so I might do it. If I do, I'll post a message to
the web indicating where this version can be downloaded.

4. Several people have asked about adding a Maintenance Log to this
workbook. That is an idea I have been considering and may well undertake
sometime soon. I have also considered adding an Expense Log. I'd like to
know if there is much interest among list members in this. Shoot me an email
if you are interested. I may not respond but I will take note and, if there
is enough interest, I'll probably do it.

I'm always interested in building a better mouse trap so continued comments
and suggestions are always welcome.
