Check out this website for some facts about fuel usage
http://oya.com/dickerson/eastbay38_fuel2.html
I am partial to boats that are powered for economy but have some reserve
power when needed. 420 hp for a 39' boat is excessive to me, but many
others think different. As they say, different strokes....

I wonder if the fuel consumption had anything to do with the repo? :>)
Seriously, good luck in your search for the best boat for you.

I am still looking at boats. The latest one is a 39' Trawler with twin
Cat 3208 diesels. Can anyone give me a guess at what kind of fuel
consumption per hour at 8-10 kt. Cruising Speed. It is a repo so I
can't ask the owner. THanks
