Reading these posts makes me wonder if there is any PC based chart plotting
software out there that produces the ships log, automatically entering basic
data like position, speed, wind depth etc, prompting the skipper to make ad
hoc subjective entries from the keyboard. With the advances in fuel
monitoring there could be automatic updates on fuel consumption rpm etc etc,
all in readable text and then able to print out for filing or store
electronically etc? Anyone know of such a beast?
