T&T: Anchor Shackle

Last time I fitted out new chain and anchor shackle, I believe I found that
the next larger size stainless shackle was  rated about right for the smaller
galvanized chain...So with 5/16" HT (galvanized) chain rated at 3900 lbs, for
example, I used a 3/8 SS shackle at the anchor end...I don't recall the
shackle rating any longer but it was close enough to seem satisfactory... Rob
