I found that my Perkins 135 at cruising speed (2050 RPM) had an intake 
volume of 3 GPH, burned 2.25 GPH and returned 0.75 GPH. This was determined 
by drawing from one tank and returning to another over a long run.

The Onan 6.5kW had a much higher rate of return. 10 GPH intake, 0.75 GPH 
burn, and 9.25 GPH return. It made a great fuel polisher while laying over 
at anchor for several days.
