T&T: "click" sound and a move of gages

Ross, are you sure that's not the sound that all hour meters make? Separate
"Hobbs" hour meters are particularly prone to clicking, but I've also heard
it on combination hour meters/tachometers. That's normal and nothing to be
worried about. If it's something else, all bets are off.

Subject: T&T: "click" sound and a move of gages

This weekend I noticed for the first time a tick or click noise when my
engines were at idle. The noise came from the instrument panel at the lower
helm station. At the same time the tach would drop off slightly and the amp
meter would tick up a little.

Interesting enough both engines would do the exact same thing - only at
different times.
I was told this is a bad ground - someplace

Any suggestions?
