T&T: 12V florescent lights

Good Morning,
 
We have recessed 12v florescent lights in the salon (4) & aft  cabin (2), 
they are up under the wood window trim.  Last year the ones in  the salon all 
stopped working at the same time and I chose not to do  anything about it, I 
figured I knocked something loose up above the  lights.  And, since we didn't use 
the these salon lights, it was not on the  "Have-to-do-list".  Now the 2 
lights in the aft cabin have stopped working  and the Admiral has informed me that 
she needs these lights to primp.  I  have tried changing out the tube light 
bulbs but to no avail.  Is there  something in one of these lights that would 
cause the other(s) to not  work.....i.e. why would both lights stop working at 
the same  time?? 
 
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.....if the Admiral ain't  
happy ain't nobody happy! ;-)
