T&T: Ireland's Canals

Hi all, I have a week in July next year at my disposal in Ireland.  Has 
anyone had any experience with chartering a canal boat and touring the 
interior of Ireland?  The canal and river system is extensive and I got 
many returns from a google search.

Any and all recommendations on chartering companies and week long trips 
would be welcome.
