.....NOPE! that is your responsibility as the owner...not his. I still think there is a HUGE market for decent respectable boat brokers....because not many exist.

Yes, it is a rare occasion to find a broker that does give a d...m about most anything. ....
But, lesson learned from that was, when it comes time to sell it I won't rely at all on the Broker to do much of anything...
  ==============================================
  Question for the group after a brief summary of where I am at:

I thought I could bypass these problems but created a whole new set.
  I picked broker at a distance from boat to eliminate tire kickers, worked somewhat but when listing salesperson left brokerage, no followup from existing salespeople to say they would be taking over, when the listing ran out I sent a letter to say I would not be renewing, broker owner responded that they were acknowledging my letter of cancellation as of March 20, Boat is still on Yachtworld listing due to oversight of them not removing, new salesman gets call from a potential buyer and passes on info to me, I show, I negociate deal, I hold deposit. Now the fun begins: How much does the salesman get for commission for sending buyer? No contract, not the original person doing the writeup, no showing, no verifying of client, no escrow accounting paperwork as buyer said he would refuse to do paperwork thru broker. And would like me to do the transfer of Documented boat registration on presentation of cashiers check at a local branch of his bank.
   My original agreement allowed me to cobroke and split fee due to my doing showing.
  Morally new salesperson did something and deserves a cut.
  How would you proceed? and how much for a phone call and followup to ask how it panned out?
