T&T: GPS Error

Something voodoo in the Chesapeake & Potomac maybe. In May I was  running a 
rhumb line from Thimble Shoal to Wolf Trap and suddenly the boat took  a hard 
right of over 90 degrees like I had run over the magnetic center of the  earth. 
It sounded the alarm and I disengaged it. Has not happen since. Could be  the 
Navy has something buried out there???
