T&T: Sea strainers

impeller pumps (engine raw water) will self prime although they will run dry 
a little longer, you may want to fill the strainers after cleaning...

Air Con pumps are not self priming and will not reprime if you have high/low 
points between the seacock and the pump which must be below WL
