T&T: "Trawler" marketing gone wild

Since the term "Trawler" seems to be popular now, everybody out there is
calling their boat a "trawler" no matter what. I had to laugh at the ad copy
I saw recently in Power Cruising. Here are some excerpts:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Headline: Annapolis to Ft. Lauderdale in four-and-a-half days.

"...our IP395 covered the 900 miles with time to spare, burning less than a
gallon per nautical mile, even at 26-knots."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm assuming this is roughly a 39' boat. Wow, a 26 knot trawler at that
size. I would guess their fuel usage claim probably means like 0.95 gallons
per mile, and find that hard to believe anyway, but I sure wouldn't call
that a "trawler".
