T&T: steadying sail

We had one made out of tan bark colored Dacron four years ago. It really
helps take the roll off while underway. The normal roll seems to accelerate
its self. With the sail set this oscillation is interrupted so the next roll
does not feed off the previous roll. We always set ours when crossing an open
body of water or when going outside in the ocean. It was only a couple of
hundred bucks to have made. It is a little less than 50 square feet. We have
a DeFever 41.
