T&T: Anchor Chain Recommendation

As Marin just stated the wildcat will determine your chain size. In addition
there is a difference between say 5/16" HT  chain and 5/16" BBB chain.

I have a Simpson/Lawrence 900 that came with my boat. It has 300' of 5/16" HT
Chain.  The gypsy ( or wildcat pick your poison ) was labeled for 5/16".  It
would not retrieve the chain when anchoring in 40 ft or more without jumping
links and thrashing about. After much research and discussion I found a
replacement gypsy for 5/16" HT Chain ... problem solved.
