T&T: Litton Trawler

LItton is same as Universal or Stuart--some other names on the same boat.  A
mumber of importers brought these boats in under their "brand" name.  These
were built in Taiwan, not Hong Kong.  I have had several friends who have
owned them, and have driven these boats on occasion.  They are middle of the
road Taiwan boats.  Problem are leaks around the windows, delamination of
plywood in the cabin walls.  Teak decks with leaks--can occur.  Most of these
were  built from 1979 to 1985, so there are risks of the fuel tanks being at
stage have to be replaced.  Standard Ford Lehman engines, most Westerbeke
generators.  Average wiring and plumbing.  I also know of several damaged in
the Hurricanes in the last few years, and these would be comming on the market
after repair about this time.
