I've seen that product before. It didn't do enough in my mind. It seems OK
but it costs more (double) than the newly announced product. I don't like
the 5.5dB antenna. In my book, that is the problem with it.

The specs that I like to see are:

Output power: 300mW or greater
Antenna gain: 12-15dB
Coax cabling: as short as possible

This WaveRV product is the first that I've seen that puts the modem actually
inside the antenna. That keeps the coax cabling to the minimum possible.
Their power output is 400mW and their antenna gain is 8dB. It is only 22"
which is a nice feature. They probably sacrificed antenna gain for height
and hopefully have enough sensitivity in the receiver to make up some of the
difference.

I've never heard of RadioLabs though. If I weren't untying the lines in
just a couple of weeks I would have wanted to get one of these to mess
around with.
