T&T: Tachometer and Infrared Heat Detector

Does anyone remember the source to purchase the following diagnostic items?  I
believe inexpensive options were discussed on previous postings.

1. A hand held infrared temperature sensor. Used to determine surface
temperatures of operating engines.

2. A hand held tachometer that reads RPM by placing a small piece of
reflective tape on a flywheel.  Again an inexpensive source was mentioned.

Have tried the archives but having trouble finding the right post.  Thanks in
advance.
