T&T: The Garmin, Mapsource & Nobeltec saga is almost at an end...

i have a 2006C and find it very easy and intuitive to create WP and 
routes... so intuitive that I have never even opened the manual...  it's 
truly point and click.

I have connected the 2006C (on the flybridge) to a laptop running mapsource 
at the lower helm, works well although mapsource doesnt' display distance 
and time to waypoints.  can't complain since it's basically free software 
and for occasional use when it rains or it's too hot, it's fine.

I've never tried to transfer data from the notebook to the garmin but 
importing routes and WP from the garmin to the notebook works flawlessly.
