T&T: bow thrusters installation

Hi Bruce

I priced an installation in March when looking at an older single engined 
boat.  For an electric thruster it was about US$13-14k for a large (7HP) 
unit, and for your 42' Krogen with its high windage bow, that's probably 
about right. Interestingly, the cost divided into 3 almost equal units for 
the thruster itself, the tube and its installation, and the electrical 
materials (including battery bank) and installation.

As to whether hydraulic or electric, I'd suggest that it depends on which is 
easiest for your boat. If you already have sufficient hydraulic capacity, 
I'd be tempted to go in that direction, but it has as many down-sides, even 
though different, as the electric option.
