Thanks for a great diagram, Peter. Since it's quite similar to the actual 
installation on the boat, I'll be able to apply it to my components quickly.

It will also be useful in producing a similar diagram for the equally 
complicated electrical system interconnections. Once that's done, I'll be 
certain what's happening when I switch among shore power, engine charging, 
generator, and batteries.
